Description
11 Fishpool Street is a Grade II listed building with an 18th-century facade on a house that dates back to the early 17th century. The building has two storeys and features three windows on the first floor and four windows along with a door on the ground floor. The front is plastered with a brick plinth. All windows are sash style with glazing bars; the first-floor windows are set in slightly projecting, moulded frames, while the ground-floor windows are recessed in plain reveals. The roof is very high-pitched, hipped, swept, and tiled. The door is set within a recessed doorcase that has moulded pilasters and a cornice hood, with an architrave surrounding a door that has six fielded panels below and three glazed panels above. The rear elevation is plastered on the first floor and made of brick on the ground floor, indicating a timber frame construction. Nos 1 to 15 (odd) form a group.
