Description
Canterbury House is an early 19th-century building constructed of red brick with a hipped slate roof. It features a cornice with coupled mutules and a low parapet. The structure has two storeys and includes six sash windows on the first floor, each with gauged flat arches, as well as a wing on the right side. The entrance consists of a six-panel door topped by an arched radial bar fanlight and is framed by a wooden case with an open pediment. The building also has modern Georgian shop fronts. Canterbury House is part of a group with Nos 20 to 24, which are consecutive.
