Description

The Assembly Room, built in 1756 with later alterations, is constructed of red brick and covered with pantiles. It features a hipped roof and overhanging wooden eaves cornice. The building is two storeys high and has five sash windows, which are arched on the first floor and have radial glazing bars at the top. The ground floor was originally open on the south side and includes a doorway with a patterned fanlight. Currently, the ground floor houses the UDC offices.
