Description

Cosy Corner Cafe is likely from the 17th century and has been altered over time. It features a roof covered with pantiles and segmental headed casement dormers. The front is made of rusticated stucco, with two near-flush sash windows on the first floor and a three-light window on the ground floor. There is a small entrance on the left with a glazed upper half and a fanlight above it. The cafe has a wide early 19th-century shop front with a central entrance labeled "Cosy Corner" and a wooden case with pilasters. The cafe is part of a group that includes the Dereham Labour Party HQ, The Eagle Inn, and several other buildings on the Market Place.
