Description

41 Quebec Street is a building that likely dates from the 17th century and has been altered over time. It stands two storeys high with an attic and features four somewhat recessed sash windows that have glazing bars. The roof is covered with pantiles and includes two segmental-headed dormers. The entrance is framed by a wooden doorcase with an eared architrave and a dentil cornice, leading to a six-panel door that has a lower fielded section and an upper glazed section. To the left of the entrance is a wooden shop window, while to the right is another sash window that no longer has glazing bars. This building, along with Nos 37 to 41 (odd) and No 45, forms a group with Nos 12 and 14.
