Description

40 Bell Street is a building from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with silver grey headers and features an old tiled, hipped roof. The building stands three storeys high and has one window. The top floor has an unbarred sash window with a flush frame, while the first floor has a modern casement window. The ground floor features an earlier 20th-century shop front. This building is part of a group with No 32 and its piers and walls, as well as Nos 34 to 40 (even).
