Description
No 32 on Bell Street is a fine 18th-century house featuring silver grey and red brick walls, with red quoins and window surrounds. The ground floor is plastered and rusticated, dating from the early 19th century. It has a heavy moulded and bracketed eaves cornice and a steeply pitched green slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and has seven windows, which are sashes with glazing bars and moulded architraves. The entrance door has been moved off centre in the 19th century. The north return face includes a pedimented dormer, while the south return face has two windows and two dormers. No 32, along with its piers and walls, forms a group with Nos 34 to 40 (even).
