Description
Nos 45, 45A, and 47 on Bell Street are an early 19th-century pair of houses. They are constructed of red brick with grey brick headers and feature a common coped parapet at the front, while each house has a separate tiled hipped roof at the rear. The buildings are three storeys high, each with three windows, all of which have red brick headers. The windows are sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor has modern shop fronts. These houses, along with Nos 53 to 81 (odd), form a group with Nos 44 to 52 (even) and Nos 60 to 64 (even) opposite, as well as with No 2 New Street.
