Description
No. 5 Parsons Pool is a 18th-century building that stands two stories high and features a three-window façade made of rough ashlar stone. The semi-basement includes windows with stone mullions and there is a stringcourse running along the front. The windows have later sash designs, and the doorway is accessed by four steps and is topped with a hood supported by shaped brackets. The entrance has a six-panel door, with the upper two panels cut away and glazed. Some glazing bars are missing from the windows, and the building has a new slate roof. No. 5 is part of a group with Nos 1 to 13 (odd) and the garden wall to No 13, as well as Nos 14 and 16 Bell Street.
