Description

  1. 1615 BELL STREET (North Side) Garrett Memorial Methodist Church ST 8623 1/127 II 2. Erected 1766; rebuilt 1827-1917. Present exterior appears to be mainly of mid to later C19 construction. Rough ashlar. Perpendicular features. Gabled entrance front at North-east end in Parsons Pool, 5 bays along Bell Street with windows arranged in 2 tiers; some with cusped heads. 4 ground floor windows with pointed heads and dripstones. Gable over bay at left hand end; Perpendicular style window above in this bay. At north- east end, in entrance front, wide pointed arch with Perpendicular style window in upper storey and doorway with side-lights in lower storey. Bellcote over.
