Description

19 Bell Street is a former 18th-century building, originally listed as No 7. It is a good two-storey and attic structure with a four-window front made of rough ashlar, now covered in roughcast. The building features a moulded stone cornice at the eaves and a stringcourse at the first-floor level. It has a new slate roof with three dormers. The sash windows are four panes wide, with flush frames and moulded architraves. The doorway is topped with a hood supported by shaped brackets and features a six-panelled door, with the top panels cut away and glazed. There is a semi-basement. Nos 13, 17, and 19 form a group.
