Description

No. 50 High Street is a building that possibly dates from the 16th to 17th century, with a front added in the late 18th century. It is two stories tall, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, and has tiled roofs. The front features a range of four sash windows with glazing bars on the upper story. The ground floor has a 19th-century double bay shop front. At the back, there is a wing extending east that has timber framing on the north side. Nos. 40 to 58 (even) form a group with this building.
