Description

62 and 62A Stanwell Street are late 17th century buildings that are timber-framed and plastered, standing two storeys high with one dormer at the front. The roofs are tiled and there are cellars beneath. The front and west side feature a moulded eaves cornice with pairs of carved modillions, and below this is a plaster frieze decorated with vine motifs. These buildings are part of a group that includes No 1 and Nos 61 to 67 consecutively.
