Description

Number 3 Scheregate is a 17th century building that features a timber frame and plastered exterior. The upper storey projects on the east front and is supported by one original shaped bracket. The building has two storeys, attics, and cellars, with tiled roofs. The ground floor is used as a shop. There may be hidden remnants of the Roman Town Wall included in the foundations. Number 3 Scheregate, along with Nos 1 to 4, forms a group of buildings.
