Description

No 4 Scheregate is a corner house that dates back to 1656. It features a timber frame and plastered exterior, with tiled roofs. The building has two storeys, attics, and cellars, and it is connected to No 3A, which has modern shops on the ground floor. The wings of the building extend to the north and west. The upper storey projects on the east and south sides, supported by a heavy diagonal bracket on the south projection and similar brackets at the gable angles on the east side. No 4 Scheregate, along with Nos 1 to 4, forms a group of buildings.
