Description
38 and 39 North Street is a 17th-century building that stands two storeys high, with attics and cellars. It features a timber frame that is partly plastered and rendered, with tiled roofs. The facade has a three-window range, with sash windows that include glazing bars. The upper storey projects slightly over the lower level. There is a central passageway underneath, and the entrance is marked by four-panel doors set in wooden cases, which are adorned with grooved pilasters and plain entablatures. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 38 to 42 and No 44.
