Description
No. 42 North Street is a late 18th century to 19th century building with a painted brick front. It is three storeys high and features a three-window range of sash windows with glazing bars. There is a bracket for a former inn sign on the front. The ground floor has a modern shop front made of plain stucco. This building is included for its group value with Nos. 38 to 42 (consecutive) and No. 44, which together form a cohesive group.
