Description
This is an 18th-century building of two storeys and attics, with cellars, originally timber-framed and plastered, now with tiled roofs and a mansard. The front elevation is of red brick with a parapet and a wood modillion cornice. It has a four-window range with sash windows featuring glazing bars, set within plain reveals. The ground floor now accommodates modern shops. A central door case remains, featuring an open pediment, an arched fanlight, bead and reel ornamentation, a six-panel door leading up steps, and panelled reveals. Lead rainwater heads are located at each end of the front. At the rear, there is a coved wood eaves cornice.
