Description

25 and 26 South Street is an 18th-century building constructed of red brick, featuring rubbed brick voussoirs. It has a mansard slate roof and stands three storeys tall with attics. There is a band above the first floor and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The shopfronts have been modernized, but the building retains four ranges of sash windows with glazing bars. There are two modernized dormers, while one original rainwater head is located on the left-hand side, along with the top part of the downpipe, which is also original.
