Description

25 East Street is a 18th century building that stands three storeys tall with an attic. It features a steeply pitched tiled gabled roof and includes one hipped dormer. The structure is made of red brick and has a cornice with modillions just below the eaves. There is a string course above the first floor. The windows are sash style, set in reveals and slightly segmental arches, with thick glazing bars on the second floor windows, although these are missing from the first floor windows. The building also has rubbed brick voussoirs and keystones, along with a fire insurance company mark. A 20th century plate glass shop front and projecting fascia have been added.
