Description

68 East Street is an 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall, featuring a much lower frontage compared to the adjacent No 67. It has a steeply pitched tiled gabled roof and a coved cornice. The structure is made of red brick and includes a stringcourse between the first and second floors. There are two sash windows with flush boxes set in flat arches, complete with intact glazing bars and rubbed brick voussoirs that have carved headings. The building has a modern shop front. Nos 65 to 68 form a group.
