28 and 29 East Street are 18th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall. They feature tiled roofs and each has one window on the upper floors. Number 28 is constructed of red brick with grey headers, while number 29 is made of painted brick and has a dentilled eaves cornice. Both buildings have sash windows with flush boxes. The second-floor windows are set in flat arches, with the window in number 28 being smaller. The ground floor has plate glass shop fronts, and number 29 includes a 19th-century shop window.
