Description

South Grove Cottage is a detached house built in the 18th century. It has two storeys and is constructed from brown brick with a tiled mansard roof. The front elevation facing the street features blind windows, except for the area above the doorway, where there is a bow-shaped oriel window flanked by fluted pilasters and topped with a cornice that has a ball ornament. The back elevation, which faces the garden, also has a similar bow oriel. The central doorway on the street front is round-headed and features a six-panel door with a fanlight above it.
