Description
The buildings at 35-39 St John's Street are a group of 17th-century properties that have been altered in the 18th century. Number 37 has an early 19th-century brick front. The buildings are timber-framed and plastered, comprising two storeys each, except for number 37, which has three storeys. They have four windows in total. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. Number 37 features a modern shop front, while the others have 19th-century shop fronts. Number 39 has a particularly good shop front with plain pilasters. The roofs are covered with old tiles. Buildings 35-48 form a notable group.
