The buildings at 35-39 St John's Street are a group of 17th-century properties that have been altered in the 18th century. Number 37 has an early 19th-century brick front. The buildings are timber-framed and plastered, comprising two storeys each, except for number 37, which has three storeys. They have four windows in total.
