Description

This is an 18th-century timber-framed house, now rendered with pebbledash. It has two storeys, attic space, and cellars. The front has two windows, which are double-hung sashes with glazing bars set within flush cased frames. A small 19th-century shop front is present at ground floor level. The roof is tiled and has a mansard form. The building itself is unremarkable, but it is included in the listing because it contributes to the character of the street as a group with buildings numbered 24 to 56A on the east side, and 37 to 89 (including 57, 61, and 61A) on the west side.
