Description

48 Bradford Street is a plain timber-framed and plastered house, now covered in pebbledash. It has two storeys and attics, with a two-window range featuring double-hung sashes with glazing bars in flush cased frames. The central doorway is framed by a plain wood architrave, narrow panelled pilasters, and a flat corniced hood supported by plain console brackets. The roof is tiled and has a mansard style, with two sloping roofed dormers. The front features a low parapet gutter with a wood coping. This building is part of a group of listed buildings from No 24 to No 56A on the east side, which forms a group with Nos 37 to 89 (including Nos 57, 61, and 61A) on the west side.
