Description
The King's Head Inn is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered building that was refronted in the 18th century. It has two storeys and attics, featuring a three-window range with double-hung sashes that have glazing bars, all set in flush cased frames. The ground floor includes two three-light bay windows and a central doorway. The roof is tiled and has two flat-headed dormers, which also contain double-hung sashes with glazing bars. This building is part of a group of listed structures that includes Nos 24 to 56A on the east side and Nos 37 to 89, along with Nos 57, 61, and 61A on the west side.
