Description

This barn, located approximately 25 metres west of Upper Farmhouse, dates back to the early 16th century. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded, with a roof clad in corrugated iron that is hipped to the left. The exposed timber frame includes plaster infill on the left side. The barn has a 2 arm crown post roof construction and a bridled scarf joint at the top plate. There is a midstrey at the rear, and it possibly consists of five bays. At the time of the survey, the barn was being used for corn storage, limiting the view of its interior.
