Description
This is a cottage from the 18th century, which has been altered in the 20th century. It is timber framed and plastered, with a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. The cottage has three bays facing southwest and features a central stack that creates a lobby entrance. To the left, there is an early 20th-century lean-to extension with a slate roof, and there is also a 20th-century rear extension with a flat roof. The building has one storey with attics and includes two 20th-century casement windows and a 20th-century door. The roof is half-hipped and has profiled sprockets under the eaves. Inside, there are chamfered axial beams with run-out stops and plain joists with a vertical section, as well as a clasped purlin roof. The cottage is included for its group value.
