Description
River Hill Cottages is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is timber framed and plastered, featuring a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. The building has two bays facing northeast and an axial stack located at the right end, with an additional stack at the rear of the left bay. There is a single-storey lean-to extension at the rear. The house is two storeys high and has one 19th-century and one 20th-century casement window on each floor. A 20th-century door is situated at the side of the lean-to porch. Shaped sprockets are visible below the eaves. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
