Description

Raisings House is a 18th-century building that now functions as a house and shop. It is timber framed, plastered, and has a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. The house has three bays facing northeast, with stacks located in both gable walls. There are single-storey rear extensions, and the building stands two storeys tall. On the ground floor, there are four 20th-century casement windows, while the first floor features three 20th-century casement windows. The central entrance has a 20th-century half-glazed door. Inside, there are chamfered axial beams with run-out stops, which are partly boxed in. The building is included for its group value.
