Description

Horseshoe Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located at the junction of Harrow Road and Pound Lane in North Benfleet. It features a timber frame and plastered exterior, with weatherboarding on the front. The cottage is a single storey and has a three-window range with casement windows. The roof is tiled. This building is one of the few remaining examples of vernacular style cottages in the area. There is a 20th-century addition at the rear.
