Description
Bradfield's Farmhouse is an 18th-century timber-framed and weatherboarded house with early 19th-century additions on the south and west sides. The south front is plastered and designed to resemble ashlar, and the building has two storeys. It features a three-window range on the south side, a one-window range on the west wing, and a five-window range on the north side. The windows are mostly double-hung sashes with glazing bars, consisting of thin sections with three and four panes. On the ground storey of the south front, there are French windows flanked by panelled pilasters and cornices. The roof of the 18th-century section is steeply pitched and tiled, with an old external chimney stack located on the north side. The early 19th-century additions have slate roofs.
