Description
Great Chalvedon Hall is an early 16th-century timber-framed and plastered house designed in an E-shaped plan. It features a cross wing at the west end and three gables on the south front. The north front showcases exposed timber-framing, a large gable on the cross wing, a small central gabled wing, and a hipped wing at the east end with a small gablet. The roof is tiled and includes a prominent central chimney stack with grouped diagonal shafts on a rectangular base.
