Description

Tiffayne's Farmhouse is a 16th century timber-framed and plastered house, built in an L-shaped plan on the site of an earlier moated house. It was refronted in brick in the 18th or early 19th century, although it is now plastered. The major part of the moat still remains. The house has two storeys. The east front features a three-window range, while the north front has a two-window range, both with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The east front has a central doorway with a semi-circular head and a 20th-century door. The north front is complemented by a large 20th-century gabled glazed porch with a semi-circular light in the gable. The roof is tiled and hipped.
