Description
Rands is a 16th to 17th century timber-framed house situated on a moated site, which was refronted in the 18th century with red brick. The building has one storey and attics, featuring casement windows with glazing bars. A modern gabled porch extends from the front. The roof is tiled and half hipped at both the east and west ends, with three gabled dormers, a central chimney stack, and an external chimney stack at the east end. At the rear, there is an extending wing. Inside, the house showcases exposed timber-framing, ceiling beams, and joists.
