Great Broomfields is a 16th and 17th century timber-framed house designed in an L-shaped plan. The timber framing is exposed and features plaster infill. The house has one storey and attics, with casement windows. The exterior displays a series of carpenter's marks. The roof is tiled and includes a rebuilt chimney stack with diagonally set shafts. Inside, the property retains exposed framing, beams, and joists.
