Description
No. 44 Corbett Street is a pair of cottages, now combined into one, likely dating from the late 17th century or 18th century, with alterations from the 19th century. The building features a timber frame that is rendered, with a 19th-century gault brick casing on the front wall. It has a steeply pitched roof originally thatched, but now covered with corrugated iron. There is an axial ridge stack made of gault brick. The structure is one storey with an attic and includes two mid to late 19th-century hung sash windows, each with four panes, as well as two doorways, one of which is now blocked. The interior has not been seen.
