Description

Rose Villa is a villa built around 1860. It features local gault brick in Flemish bond on the front wall, with English bond on the sides and a hipped roof covered in fishscale pattern slate. The eaves are supported by shaped wood pendant brackets. There are two symmetrically placed chimney stacks with original pots. The building is a single pile with an outshut at the rear and consists of two storeys. The front has a range of three recessed, four-pane hung sashes set in cambered arches. The central doorway is framed by a reeded doorcase with a narrow cornice supported by scroll brackets, leading to a four-panelled door.
