Description

Pelham House is a villa built around 1850. It is constructed from local gault brick and features a slate roof, gabled ends, and original chimney pots. The building is two storeys tall and has a double fronted design. Its symmetrical facade includes three recessed hung sash windows, each with twelve panes. The central doorway is framed by a double recessed elliptical arch and is accessed by two steps leading up to a panelled door with a fanlight above. The property was associated with J.R. Ravensdale and is noted to be liable to flooding.
