Description

This villa was built around 1850. It is constructed of local gault brick with a slate roof, featuring symmetrical hipped ends and stacks. The building has a double pile plan, meaning it is two rooms deep. It is two storeys high and has a double-fronted facade with an asymmetrical arrangement of windows. The front has three recessed sash windows with twelve panes each, set within flat arched surrounds. Two windows are at ground floor level, flanking a recessed elliptical doorway with a stone impost block surround. The villa is believed to have been designed by J.R. Ravensdale, and the property is susceptible to flooding.
