No. 28 High Street is a cottage that likely dates back to the 18th century and was originally timber framed. It has undergone significant alterations in the 19th century when it was covered in gault brick. The cottage features a steeply pitched roof made of corrugated iron, which was originally thatched, and has a contemporary ridge stack made of gault brick. The layout follows a lobby entry plan and consists of one storey with an attic. There are two dormer windows and two mid to late 19th-century hung sash windows on either side of the doorway.
