Description

No. 5 Frog End is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or 18th century. It features a roughcast rendered timber frame and a chamfered roof made of long straw, which is half-hipped at the left-hand gable end. The cottage has an original grey gault brick ridge stack and a three-bay plan with a lobby entry. It is one storey high with an attic that includes one small dormer. There are two horizontal sliding sash windows and a later third window. The entrance is located in a porch that has a lean-to roof made of thatch.
