Description

Rookery Farmhouse is a 17th-century house with a front that was remodelled in the late 19th century. The house is timber framed and has been roughcast and plaster rendered, with a front of white brick. It has a cement tiled roof and a ridge stack featuring six diagonally set shafts on a rectangular base. The layout is L-shaped.

The front of the house, dating to the late 19th century, has three recessed sash windows and a 20th-century porch in the centre. The rear range has two storeys. Attached to the rear of the original 17th-century part is a single-storey, 17th-century kitchen range, also timber framed and rendered. The main house has two bays and a cross-passage between them.
