Description

Nos. 19 and 21 Church Road are adjoining cottages from the late 17th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and have incised plaster render, topped with a thatched roof and a shared red brick ridge stack. The cottages are one storey high with attics, featuring one gabled dormer and four shuttered horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars. There are two doorways leading into the cottages. Inside No. 21, you can see two abutting inglenooks, and the floor framing of slender scantling is visible.
