Description

No. 35 High Street is a mid to late 18th-century house constructed from gault brick, featuring a tiled mansard roof and end stacks. The building stands two storeys tall with attics and includes two dormers that have horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars. The front elevation is symmetrical, showcasing three flush frame hung sashes with glazing bars. On either side of the central doorway, which is set within a segmental arch, are two original splayed bays with similar windows. The doorway is framed by a moulded doorcase and has a later panelled door. At the rear, the outshut has been rebuilt. Inside, the details in the ground floor rooms primarily date from the late 18th century or early 19th century.
