This is an early 18th-century building, originally a cottage, situated within a group that includes the Corn Exchange and No. 12. It is two storeys high with attics, and has a plastered front elevation, a tile roof, and a horizontal band separating the storeys. A moulded cornice runs along the eaves. The building has two windows with glazing bars, and a hipped dormer window featuring a moulded cornice. A modern shop front has been installed. A small wrought iron sign bracket is also present. A separate, early 18th-century cottage is located at the rear of the building and is incorporated into the main structure. The building is included on the list for its group value.
