Description

9 The Pavement is an early to mid-19th century building that has been altered. It stands three storeys high and features four windows. The exterior is finished in rusticated stucco, with a cornice and a blocking course. There is a plain sill band at the second floor level, and the windows are square-headed, recessed architraved sash windows. The ground floor has been modernized for a shop. This building is included for its group value with the Corn Exchange and the adjacent buildings, Nos. 5 to 10 and No. 12.
