Description

This is a mid-18th century pair of houses located on North End in Wisbech. The houses are constructed of local brick with red gauged brick used for the cambered arches over the windows. They have a slate roof and three storeys, topped with an attic. A parapet runs along the roofline, finished with stone coping, and contains four dormer windows. The windows are modern replacements, consisting of twelve-paned hung sashes, with six on the first floor and four on the ground floor. Modern panelled doors are set within round arches on the left and right sides. Brick chimney stacks are located at the ends of the building. Number 4 has a brick facade which has been rendered.
