Description

Nos. 1 and 2 North End are an early 19th-century pair of houses constructed from gault brick and topped with a slate roof. The buildings feature an end stack at the south and a ridge stack. They rise to two storeys and are adorned with a wooden, bracketed cornice. On the first floor, there are four twelve-paned hung sash windows set in cambered brick arches with stone cills. The ground floor showcases two large twenty-paned hung sash windows positioned between two six-panelled doors, all framed by round-headed, moulded stone arches that include a fanlight above.
